Prussian Blue is a deep blue colour. It was made by German chemist Diesbach around 1704 making it the first synthetic blue pigment. It quickly gained favour as an alternative to genuine Ultramarine.

"Perfect texture, quality, and color. Lamp black is exceptional for use in skies due to its blueish bias, when mixed with white. It allows for a simple stormy/gray sky alternative, compared to more rich mixtures. You can make silver out of it too!"

"Winsor & Newton never fail to provide tubes of paint that exceed my expectations each time I purchase them. They have a wide selection to choose from for primaries, which makes finding a cheaper alternative to one yellow or blue, possible. The affordability is forgiving and ideal for all of humanity. The oil to pigment ratio is ideal for a starting point; oily, but not too stiff either.
