"The hairs are stiff and spring back to shape pretty well. I can without the ergonomic handle. I generally grip the brush from end and I find the end to be too pointy. I feel it in the palm of my hand. The number 4 brush had some stray hairs that are not following the contour of rest of hairs, not a huge problem."
