Postcards - the Mail Art movement

"Since I trade and share postcards all over the world through #mailartmovement I was so excited to receive the set from you! I have only mailed out one postcard so far but I will be making one for the postcard event W&N has created with these sets."

È una bella iniziativa e

"È una bella iniziativa e poi mi piacciono molto le cartoline, le lettere, la calligrafia. La carta è ruvida e quindi la cartolina è adatta all'acquerello con molta acqua."

I bought watercolor paper from

"I bought watercolor paper from you all just so that I could get the postcard set. Really excited to use your watercolor papers. I have never used them and I haven't used them yet but very excited to try them. The postcard set is super fantastic. And I can't wait to submit my entry!"

Perfect for my daily doodles

"I do like the Windsor and Newton paper. It's easy to work on and absorbs water well. I like doing free watercolor botanicals so this paper is good for me. I'm hoping to enter a painting for the postcard but I haven't decided what to paint yet and I will need some fixative so as to protect the painting during transit in the post. I love the idea of the postcards they're a good size for my daily doodles and keepsake projects, handy to keep in a box as well as to send to friends. The paper is good quality and seems to like my paints"

"It was beautifully packaged with the perfect amount of postcards. It was thoughtfully mailed separately so that my order of paints wouldn’t damage or bend them. Great concept and promotion for artists worldwide. I have loved your paints and brushes for the longest time. Thank you❣️:hands_heart:"

Great Project!

"It's a very exciting project to make something and be included in it being shown somewhere. Also the additional postcards are going to be used up and sent to people! It's great to get a free gift with a purchase as it encourages you to do even more with your creativity. It's good to send non digital greetings to people. The quality of the postcards is excellent. Could be useful for sketching projects outdoors too."

Really solid postcards. The 300gsm

"Really solid postcards. The 300gsm holds water well without buckling, even with a couple of washes. Paint sits nicely on the surface so colours stay bright, and you can lift or soften edges without the paper fighting you. For me these cards strike a good balance between smooth and lightly textured, so I can do detail but still get some character in the paint. Postcard size is great for quick studies or any small pieces you’d actually post. So for me if you want something reliable that behaves predictably and doesn’t feel flimsy, these are a great buy."
