Methods, Rates & Estimated Time

When placing your order please ensure that the billing and shipping address details are correct as we are unable to redirect packages once an order has been sent to the warehouse to be picked and packed. 

  •  Orders are sent by DPD.
  •  Delivery cannot be made to a PO Box and BFPO addresses. 
  • Delivery will be made to the address specified on the original order. 
  • Where local duties and taxes apply, these are the responsibility of the purchaser. 
  • All payments must be fully completed prior to delivery. 
  • Delivery of customer orders is subject to the policies of Winsor & Newton’s selected shipping agent. 

If a customer cannot take delivery, it will be the customer’s responsibility to contact the shipping agent to arrange re-delivery in accordance with its policies.

UK – Free Standard shipping is available on UK orders over £50.00.
We do not deliver to Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, British Overseas Territories or Sovereign Base Areas.

Orders will be picked, packed and dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. Orders placed on the weekend or on Bank Holidays, will be processed the next working day.

Placing an order
Customers have the option on checkout to proceed as a guest, or to register with us.

For greater ease of shopping, we encourage all of our customers to register with us to place an order.  You will be able to track your shipments, view order history and save your payment information for faster checkout.  All of your personal information is safe and will never be sold or shared.  We utilize SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which encrypts your credit card number, name, and address so this information rendered unreadable should anyone try to intercept it.

If you have registered with us, you will be able to check the status of your order.

In order to do this, please sign in at the top right hand side of the page and access ‘My account’ section. In ‘My Account’ you will be able to see all your recent orders and their current status.

Change or cancel an order
If you are registered customer and have recently placed an order and wish to cancel it, you may do so in your My Account section on the My Orders page.  If your order is eligible to be cancelled simply click on “Cancel Order” next to the order.  If you do not see a “Cancel Order” then please visit our Contact Us page and one of our Customer Service representatives will assist you.

If you placed your order as a guest and have not registered with us, you will need to contact us here to request a cancellation.

In case you would like to add items to your order, please place a complete new order. 

If you want to remove certain items from your order, you will need to cancel your order completely, and place a new order excluding the unwanted items. 

If you need to change your delivery address details, then please cancel your order and place a new order with the correct delivery address.

If your order has already been despatched or delivered, then please see our Returns Policy in the event of any unwanted products.

Once you submit your order online, your debit card / credit card will be charged for the full amount of the order.  The charge will appear on your bank statement as “”.


Returns Policy

NB. This policy does not affect any of your legal rights, including a separate statutory 14-day right of cancellation, that may be available to you if you are a consumer. For detailed information about those rights, see our terms and conditions. If the statutory right to cancel does not apply, then you can cancel and return goods in accordance with those rights and you do not need to comply with any of the requirements set out below.

This returns policy does not apply to defective items.

Please inspect your order upon delivery and, if for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return the product(s) within 28 days of receipt of your order. If your order is eligible for return (as explained below) then please follow these steps to request a return:

If you are registered as a customer:

1.       Sign-in to the site.

2.      Visit your “My Account” section.

3.      Click “View Order” and then “Return one of more items”.

4.      Fill-out the form and hit submit.

5.      A Customer Service representative will aim to review your return request within 2 working days and contact you with further instructions.

6.      Any order received without a “Return Authorisation Number” will NOT be processed.

7.      Please ensure you send back your order within 7 days of your return being authorised.

If you are not registered on the site, and checked out as a guest:

·         Contact us here, selecting ‘Returns enquiries’ in the category drop down. Please provide a reason for your return.

·         A Customer Service representative will aim to review your return request within 2 working days and contact you with further instructions.

·         Please ensure you send back your order within 7 days of your return being authorised.

·         Please send your parcel to the same address as above.

Please note, unfortunately we are not able to exchange products.

Our Returns Policy is subject to the following additional conditions:

·         We accept product returns, without penalty, within 28 days of delivery subject to compliance with all of the conditions in this Returns Policy.

·         Returned products must be in their original packaging and condition.

·         The product(s) returned must be accompanied by the original invoice and an authorisation number.

·         You shall be responsible for the risk of loss or damage to the returned product(s). We regret that we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of returned goods and so we would recommend that you send the goods via a delivery.

·         Service that insures you for the value of the goods and that you obtain proof of posting / dispatch.

·         If an item has been returned and you are requesting a refund you will be refunded the cost of the goods (less the amount of any discount) and original delivery charges, but not the return postal charges as these are your responsibility.

·         For returned products, refunds will be made to your original payment card.

·         In the case an order is returned to any of the Winsor & Newton warehouses or sales offices with no prior notification, then the returns policy is not applicable and we will not be able to process your return.

·         Items bought at a high street store cannot be returned to the Winsor & Newton online store. Please contact the original point of purchase for returns.

Missing, incomplete or damaged orders

If you find that one or more of your ordered products has not been delivered within the expected delivery time, then please get in touch.

If you have received product(s) that have been damaged in transit, then please follow the instructions in our Returns Policy section above.
