Abstract Shapes with Fineliners and Watercolour Pencils

This masterclass demonstrates a blending technique when working with Fineliners and watercolour pencils from The Studio Collection. The water-resistant ink in the Fineliner is perfect to use with wax-based watercolour pencils when you want visible borders. First, we draw out shapes with a Fineliner and then fill in the areas with watercolour pencil. To smooth and blend the pencil marks, we add water with a brush which reacts to the pencil but the water-resistant black lines remain undisturbed.
