Building Layers with Transparent Manganese Blue Hue
Manganese Blue Hue is a transparent colour that, when layered, becomes a richer blue. Manganese Blue is a green-blue that was discontinued in the 1970s but returned as a hue now, in a sustainably sourced pigment. It is used here to demonstrate how a transparent colour can be layered on top of itself to create an increasingly stronger, more opaque colour.
