Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour and Artisan mediums can be mixed with conventional oil colours and conventional mediums. But the more conventional oil colour or mediums are used, the less water-mixable the resulting mixture will be. We recommend using Artisan colours and mediums exclusively, in order to benefit from being able to use water with them instead of solvents.
