Cotman is available in the most popular Not/Cold Pressed surface, in 90lb (190gsm), 140lb (300gsm) and 200lb (425gsm) weights and is supplied in loose sheets and a selection of pads.

A firm favourite amongst water colour artists, Cotman Water Colour paper is a fine quality mould-made, wood-free paper made exclusively to the exacting specifications of Winsor & Newton.

Both inexpensive and versatile, it is ideal for use by students, amateurs or professionals who use large quantities of paper.

Cotman paper is acid free for extensive life without deterioration and is both internally and externally sized to give brilliance of colour and to facilitate erasing and sponging without damaging the surface.  It has a natural warm white surface and has a sheet size of 30 x 22" (762 x 558mm).

Cotman Water Colour Paper is recommended by the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and has been awarded their seal of approval.  This award was made after extensive testing of the paper which was found to offer a "unique combination of quality, value and reliability". Cotman Water Colour Paper has therefore met the exacting standards demanded by the membership of one of Britain's leading groups of water colourists.
