À propos Siobhan Lewis

Without the rain there would be no rainbows, & only when it’s dark can we see the beauty of the stars’ Anon Love me love my dog! I loved to paint & draw as a child, however it was not until October 2013 after life threw me a few lemons that I picked up my brushes again & decided to make ‘arty lemonade’. Based in Accrington, Lancashire & blessed with a supportive loving family, I was delighted to win the prestigious SAA (Society for All Artists) Amateur Artist of the Year 2015, with my portrait ‘Irish Eyes’ which went on to poll the most public votes ever received at the London Art Exhibition. More awards followed for portraits, illustration, ballet, animal, plane & landscape paintings in a both oil & acrylic mediums. January 1st 2016 I made the decision to become a professional artist & began to accept a very limited number of private commission pieces, alongside my continually expanding portfolio of works. I work in professional quality acrylics, oils, gouache & pencil on a variety of surfaces from canvas, & hot pressed handmade paper, to reclaimed antique board & tools. I am a passionate advocate for community involvement, & everyone helping in whatever way they can. I have taken part in many art & craft charity fundraisers, as well as painting several works specifically to raise funds for specific charities such as Help for Heroes, MacMillan, Make a Wish Foundation & Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. You can find & follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Redbubble, Fine Art America & Facebook, with a new dedicated fine art & craft website currently being worked on to make access & ordering even easier.
