About Olle Qvennerstedt
Olle Qvennerstedt has been a Professional artist since the late sixties and as well as attending several art-schools and courses he started his career firstly as an illustrator and then in the mid eighties he added fine art to his portfolio. Olle has exhibited in approximately 70 art exhibitions, single and panel-evaluated, around the world.
During his career Olle has successfully achieved 5 scholarships, national, provincial and local and is an active member of KRO (The Organisation of Swedish Artists) as well as 6 other national organisations.
Olle Qvennerstedt's Work
"My world is either in full colour or black and white. Being a painter and a drawing artist there are also mixed-media on my menu of art."
Olle's work consists of figures, shapes in movement, flight or at peaceful rest, relatively realistic and also a more abstract world in painting where nature from close-up and it's colours inspires him. His work can even consist of maps, shapes of continents, islands from space in some paintings.
As well as finding inspiration from a wide array of items.
Work on public display among others: The National Museum, Stockholm and Eskilstuna Art Museum.
