About Kerstin Pettersson
Kerstin Pettersson is a professional artist from Sweden who decided to become an artist at a very early age, at only 9 years old.
Kerstin completed a distance drawing course at 14 years old and attended summer schools regularly. However, after secondary school Kerstin took a very different direction attended Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan to study mathematics and languages for two years, whilst continuing to paint leisurely.
Kerstin then attended RMI/Berghs learning illustration and graphic design, painting freely and stubbornly, something that Kerstin is still doing today.

Kerstin adopts many styles of painting on canvas and paper making her work appealing to a vast audience. Kerstin finds inspiration from the things she sees, from what she reads, and from personal experiences. Kerstin is currently painting portraits, landscapes and large paintings of animals, using a variety of different techniques.
