Influenced by the Scottish Colourists, I am self taught using the location of F C B Cadells old studio croft on Iona and places he painted at for focus of Iona paintings.

It was the media I first used to teach myself to paint and draw with on the Hebridean Holy Island of Iona in the summer of 1997.
