Barbara Barrett's Work
Because I am an Art teacher, I pride myself in being able to paint Watercolour in many of its unlimited ways. It truly is a Medium of unlimited possibilities. I love exploring Wet into Wet techniques. In both South Africa and Ireland I have lived near the sea, so I love painting the sea and water in its many moods and movements, crashing waves and still reflections. Because I was a keen gardener I also paint flowers, Watercolour being the perfect medium for the delicate blooms. I love painting using saturated paper for a moody and soft edge effect. Painting the light is my great inspiration.

Barbara Barrett uses Winsor & Newton because
as a professional Artist I need my paints to be permanent and reliable, as a teacher I insist my students use the best!
