About Anna Mosca
Italian born I started to travel at an early age. Art is in my bones and always had, even while traveling around the world, if I could not paint, I'll draw, write of photograph. Painting is very physical to me. I studied art in Italy and Fine Arts while living in the USA then graduated at the Brera's Art Academy in Milan. I held art shows both in USA as in Italy.
Anna Mosca's Work
Painting brings emotions and life out of me. I particularly like to paint people, interpret their presence and convey my perception of them. I use mainly oil painting, on canvas, boards or cardboards. My paintings are strong in colors choice, brush strokes and gesture. Painting is very physical for me and I have no interest in restraining myself and using control as I do when using different medias such as photography or poetry. I need to express emotions and let all the colors flow out of me when I paint. My perceptions of painting is so to convey emotions, not thoughts, be the subject a person or else. I want people to feel, to be lost in feelings, when looking at my paintings not to reason or search for perfect reproduction. I think oil paint with its texture, fluidity and bold colors lasting through the years is a perfect medium for that. Occasionally I use acrylics.

I like to use the best quality products with high reliability and Windsor and Newton gives me that. I love the intensity and the texture of WN oil paintings.
