Carl is an award winning artist from Shropshire with a portfolio of work extending from still life to portraiture to wildlife. Although Carl does use various painting techniques he is best known for his airbrush art used in partnership with conventional paintbrush work.

Keith Hornblower is a trained civil/structural engineer who moved into architecture where he was able to develop his skills as a freelance architectural illustrator. Today, over 20 years later, he is now an established popular traditional illustrator in watercolour and is an active Fellow of the Society of Architectural Illustration. Keith's water colours are inspired by the works of Charles Reid and William Walcot and his loose and spontaneous style aims to portray a building's character and presence without getting bogged down in irrelevant detail.

Geoff Chaplin is a British born artist living and working in Hokkaido, Japan. He uses "gum printing" techniques dating from the 1830s in conjunction with water colour to create works of art that are developed with both controlled and uncontrolled variables making his work touched by man but also by nature.

I’ve always been really into art but didn’t study it as GCSE as I wasn’t actively encouraged to do so, instead I did Art Textiles which is where I started to experiment with different textures and medias although this was all fabric based.

Adrian Nicholas 49, of Newport, Isle of Wight, graduated at Trent in 1981, he majored in politics and international relations. Known professionally as Adrian de la Roche, marine and heritage fine artist.

Name: Robert Dance

Robert B. Dance is nationally known as one of the premier nautical artists in the United States. He was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1934. At that time, Japan was already at war with Manchuria, and increasing tensions compelled his family to leave Japan just prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbour. He has been painting since the age of six, and is an award winning graduate of The Philadelphia Museum College of Art.

Name: Richard Whincop

Richard was born in Fordingbridge in Hampshire in 1964. He was always keen on drawing and painting, and took Art ‘A’ level at Bishop Wordsworth’s Grammar School in Salisbury.

Name: Suzy Sharpe

Painter of Animals, Born in 1967 in Manchester, Suzy Sharpe studied graphic design and illustration after school, but followed a career in life assurance. She returned to painting when her child was born in 1991. She moved to Cornwall in 1995 and since then has had the pleasure of keeping animals which have been a constant part of her life and are usually the subject of her work.

Michele Del Campo was born in Sannicandro Garganico (Italy).in 1976. After two years studying Fine Arts in Milan, he moved to the UK where he received the Bachelor of Design (Honors) Degree in Illustration at the University of Dundee in 2001. Michele is represented by the Jorge Alocolea Gallery of Madrid and the Mark Jason Gallery of London.

Name: Nicholas Phillips

Nicholas Phillips returned to painting in 2000 after a ten year break, working exclusively in Winsor & Newton watercolour. His first solo show for 20 years was held in London at Jonathan Cooper in April 2007.

Name: Allen Shufflebotham

Allen was recognised as a talented artist as a school boy. Having left school he went into engineering but always remained focused on art. In 1967 he sustained a sporting injury that side lined him from his employment, this gave him the time to pursue his interest in painting.

Paul Robinson was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1972, he studied Art and Design to A-level at Bishop Wordsworth Grammar School, Salisbury and graduated with a degree from University of Hertfordshire after studying Engineering and Design. Paul has worked hard to achieve a high level of respect in the Hertfordshire area that now makes his work locally high profile and instantly recognisable.

Aurora Spain has been a professional artist since 1995. Her continual passion for the visual arts and love of colour has led her to develop a very personalised and unique technique. She also likes to constantly experiment with the practical application of colour as well as composition.

Name: Christopher Corr

Christopher Corr was born in London in 1955. He studied Graphic Design at Manchester Polytechnic and went on to the Royal College of Art to complete his masters in Illustration. He was awarded the RCA Drawing Prize and a Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship to the USA.

Judith Heilbronn-Crown was born in England and now lives in Israel. She paints mainly landscapes and flowers, in oil paints, acrylic and coloured pencil, and sometimes works in other media. She teaches art to children in the afternoons after school, and sometimes to adults.

Nick Poullis was born in Henley-on-Thames in 1974 and brought up in Amersham and now lives in France. After studying at the University of East Anglia, Cambridge Campus, gaining a B.A. Hons in Illustration he went on to illustrate books including the award winning The Voyage of the Arctic Tern by Hugh Montgomery published by Candlewick Press U.S.A. and Walker Books U.K. to critical acclaim.

Name: Victor Martinez

Victor Martinez is internationally renowned as one of Peru's premier watercolor artists. He is celebrated for his sensitive portraits of Andean people, as well as their landscapes and seascapes. His realist paintings have been shown in numerous museums and are part of private collections in North and South America, as well as Europe.

Heather James is a talented artist based in London, her qualifications and training include an MA in Fine Art, Central St Martins, London (2006). In 2008 Heather held a solo exhibition called ‘Sex Love & Beauty’ at Customs House, Sandford Goudie Gallery, South Shields, Newcastle.

About me: Ian has been painting wildlife since the age of 13. A self-taught artist he has received praise from conservationists such as Sir Peter Scott and David Bellamy. He now paints professionally and birds and wildlife remain his main subjects. His work is featured in various wildlife magazines and he is a member of the Artists for Conservation Foundation.

Name: Mark Jessett

About me: Mark’s abstract work focuses on loose, elliptical forms drawn in groups. His work encompasses the spirit of Designer’s Gouache, which led to his work being featured on our new packaging. By using variation in quality of line and paint washes, he creates differing degrees of solidity to forms. Opacity and translucence are important in his work to bring weight and depth and his use of media creates moving images and moments in suspension.

About me: She has a lifelong love of art and lettering, which began early on during her childhood in Wales. As a practising professional Calligrapher and Illustrator working in Portsmouth, Hampshire, she enjoys creating exuberantly colourful, decorated lettering as well as preparing more serious and formal calligraphic work within the commercial world. She has been teaching Calligraphy for 15 years.

Rebecca set out to create really large scale paintings celebrating mankind’s response to the moon.

About me: David Moscoso is a remarkable young painter based in the small university city of Ambato deep in the Ecuadorian Andes. In 2006 he was commissioned to paint the dome of a newly-built cathedral in his city of Ambato, Ecuador. The dome, 20 metres in diameter and 60 metres above the ground, is a spectacular work of art that has to be seen to be believed.
