Bio:
E. Joseph McCarthy is an artist with over 30 years of experience painting in oils, watercolors, acrylics and producing large ceramic tile murals. His most recent works include a series of large abstract oil paintings, “Cityscapes” that stem from his time spent in New Jersey and New York City. His commissioned works include ceramic tile murals at the Tampa International Airport, Merck Pharmaceutical Company in NJ, Children Hospital CA, and Savannah Hotel in Barbados. Other recent commissions this year 2010 was for the entrance of Annenberg Pavilion, at Eisenhower Medical Center, CA.
For the past 7 years Joseph has received specialized training in the Winsor & Newton, Artist Outreach Program. As a working artist he gives seminars on the properties of oils, watercolors, acrylics and their mediums at colleges, retail stores and art associations throughout the Northeast.
