Bio:

Christine Hanlon is a working artist/teacher from the San Francisco Bay area, who has been the Education Advisor for Winsor & Newton since 1998.  She has been trained on methods and materials with Winsor & Newton in London, and has conducted technical seminars on color and paint at colleges and universities throughout No.California and the Pacific Northwest.

Her extensive resume includes invitational and juried museum and gallery shows, as well as traveling exhibitions.  She received a BFA in Painting from RISD in 1976 and an MFA in Painting from the Academy of Art University in 1997, where she currently teaches at the graduate level.
