Today Winsor & Newton products are chosen by more artists around the world than any other brand. We’re pleased to welcome you to our website Factory Tour where we show a little of our history, our manufacturing processes and explain many of the qualities which attract so many artists to our colours.
Many artists, conservators and journalists from around the world visit us to see our colour being made and to look around our museum.

Our Museum - The Artists' Colourmen's Room
Our first stop for any tour is always The Artists’ Colourmen’s Room. Exhibits kept here trace the origins of the raw materials used by artists, the development of commercial manufacture by artists’ colourmen and the history of Winsor & Newton.
